Strategic consulting: what it is and how to grow your company

The difference between selling and scaling

Most of the companies that come to me aren't failing. They're selling. They have momentum, clients, revenue. But selling and scaling aren't the same thing, and that's where the problem begins. The difference between a company that grows noisily and one that truly scales almost never lies in what it does, but in what it isn't seeing. That, at its core, is strategic consulting: working on the whole business —model, value proposition, sales, processes and data— to make visible what's holding back growth and turn it into a clear direction that gets executed.

The pattern I see again and again

There's a pattern that repeats in almost every stuck company: they work short-term to push sales. Quarters, months, reactive decisions. When something falls short, the answer is almost always the same: more people, more investment, more effort. And yet growth doesn't sustain. The problem isn't effort —there's usually plenty of that—, it's the lack of clarity. Marketing without a clear business model, without defined processes and without a real strategy doesn't scale. What's missing isn't doing more, it's knowing what to do, in what order and with what objective.

Why a company cannot be advised from the outside

Here's the part that sets me apart and that I think is the key to everything: a company can't be understood from a PowerPoint presentation. That's why I work with few clients on purpose. I prefer to get fully inside and understand how everything really works: from how a client is acquired to how a deal is closed and delivered, through every process in between. That depth is what lets you find the real bottleneck, not the obvious one. Many times what looks like a marketing problem is actually a process problem, a sales follow-up problem, or a model that stopped making sense. Without going into the detail, you don't see it.

I speak from the trenches, not from theory

There's a reason I can get into someone else's business so quickly: I live my own every day. Beyond consulting, I build and run my own projects —Brainstorming Films, an AI-driven content production studio; Veribox, a platform that connects skilled-trade professionals with clients; and Echoroutes—. Each one forces me to validate ideas, take risks, optimize processes and make real-impact decisions with my own money on the line. That's my backbone: I don't advise companies from a manual, I grow them while I grow my own. I know where it hurts, what works and where the real bottleneck usually is, because I live it too.

What I work on when I get inside your company

What I work on when I get inside your company

When I come in, I don't focus on a single area, but on how everything fits together. The work starts with a deep diagnosis: I map your business model, your real margins by channel and the blockers you're not seeing. From there we define a commercial strategy for the next 90-365 days with priorities, budget and actionable KPIs. I organize internal processes —document the key ones, define owners per stage and remove bottlenecks— and implement CRM, data and AI automations so sales follow-up stops depending on someone's memory. I align marketing and sales with the real model, and support execution alongside your team. The goal isn't to delegate actions: it's to build a growth system that works with or without us, and that the knowledge stays inside your company, not in a PDF nobody reads.

Thinking in 1 and 5 years, not short-term patches

A good strategy defines the full horizon of the business. The short term gets executed, yes, but without losing sight of the direction. I apply artificial intelligence where it increases profitability —not as a trend, but where it truly makes sense for your business— and I bring learnings from very different industries (retail, e-commerce, professional firms, healthcare, B2B, education). Every client and every project of my own contributes data and patterns that apply to the next. It's a constant learning flow that multiplies the value.

When does it make sense and where to start?

Strategic consulting makes sense when your company is already up and running —it has revenue, a team or traction— and needs to get organized, scale or decide with more clarity. It's not about doing more: it's about doing what actually moves the business. And the first step is always the same: understanding your current situation in depth to identify what's limiting growth and define a real direction.
